The GRE General Test tests student’s verbal and quantitative reasoning skills. It also tests your analytical writing skills and critical thinking. These skills are important for study in graduate schools and business schools.
The Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning sections of test range from easy to difficult level. The scores for each section is from 130-170. The score of both sections is then added to give a total score of 260-340.
A basic word processor developed by ETS is used for this test. The main features available in this word processor are insert text, delete text, cut-and-paste and undo the previous action. Features of spell-checking and grammar-checking are not available in this software. These available features make the essay writing very convenient.
There is no restriction on number of attempts for GRE Test. If a student doesn’t get required score he/she is advised to take this test again with more concerted efforts.
The validity of GRE Score is 5 years. However a student can make other attempts to improve the score but the institutions have access to all your scores you attempted in last five years hence you should sincerely prepare before making any attempt for GRE.
